You surely have your hands full! It is good to Stay On Top of things at school, and to be honest about how disappointed you have been with your son's former school program. With your home goals and his school IEP help he has twice as much hope of exceeding those goals. I'm a retired special education teacher, having worked with children from Nursery school through Senior high, and having raised a son with Down syndrome.
